Quinnipiac University is giving student voices the chance to be heard through TEDx, a global platform dedicated to sharing ideas worth spreading.
what is tedx?
In the spirit of discovering and spreading ideas, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDx[name], where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDx[name] event, TED Talks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.

Our team for the TEDx event at Quinnipiac is a group of passionate, student-driven leaders dedicated to creating a space where ideas and stories can truly resonate. Each member brings something different, from event planning and design to outreach and storytelling, allowing us to build an experience that feels both professional and personal. What connects us is a shared goal of uplifting student voices and making sure this event reflects the creativity, diversity, and ambition of our campus community.

Each speaker offers a unique perspective shaped by their own experiences, passions, and identities, creating a lineup that feels both authentic and impactful. From moments of growth and challenge to ideas that push conversations forward, these talks are rooted in honesty and meant to inspire connection, reflection, and change across our campus community.
